Out of thousands of small businesses across the UK, I’ve been chosen as one of this year’s SmallBiz100 by Small Business Saturday — the UK’s most celebrated small business campaign. This recognition shines a spotlight on businesses that make a difference in their community. Not because they’re the biggest, but because they show up. And this year, I’m one of them. BOOM!!
I never thought I’d have my own business. I started this later in life, without a big plan or a fancy strategy. I just wanted to help people feel more confident showing up on LinkedIn™. So I built Full Cup Coaching from a garden shed in a Devon seaside town with nothing but consistency, kindness, and a belief that 15 minutes a day is enough to change everything.
Since 2021, I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners (especially bookkeepers, accountants, and coaches), helping them grow their visibility, confidence, and community on LinkedIn™ in a way that feels human. This business wasn’t built overnight. It was built slowly, intentionally, and one post, one conversation, one coffee at a time. And now, it’s been recognised as one of the UK’s 100 most inspiring small businesses.
If I can do this "a bloke in a shed in a Devon seaside town" then so can you
Small Business Saturday is the UK's most successful small business campaign.
Each year, it highlights 100 of the country's most inspiring small businesses. These are businesses making a real difference in their communities, showing what is possible when you do things your own way. After a nationwide search, I am proud to share that Full Cup Coaching has been selected as one of this year’s #SmallBiz100. I am also one of only two businesses in Devon to be included.
The campaign celebrates small businesses of every kind. From shops and cafés to freelancers, coaches, and service-based businesses, it is all about recognising the value of small, personal, purpose-led work. This year’s campaign runs right through to Small Business Saturday on 6 December 2025. Each of us will be featured as part of the 100-day countdown, giving people a chance to learn more about what we do and how we help.
